Hello Good People in the Land, enjoying the full moon rise over the hills as I type this. It’s spectacular. Looks like a super moon because its so giant and the cool evening breeze just completes the evening. The night sky was truly remarkable as the moon cast shadows around my quiet time in the jacuzzi. I’m pretty sure I’ve run out of superlatives.

Attention: Last week I wrote about having a community beach party on Sunday Oct. 14th featuring Red Beans and Rice from 1-4 but learned after my announcement that Wharf #1 is having its anniversary celebration at the same time in addition to the annual sailboat regalia so we are postponing our event until further notice so stay tuned!

My classic hits cover band Fields of Eden will be at Barmel this Saturday night and we invite you to come on over. Our bassist, Ron Beckett, is leaving CA with his beautiful wife Kathy so this will be our last show together. He’s been a terrific friend and musician and will be dearly missed.

The link of the week below - great insight on what music does to your brain. Always worth the scroll. Have a playful week and thanks again for your great support.

Super great duo - they do it all - just the way you like it. Great songs, great voice, easy on the ears.

About: Mark has opened for Roger McGwinn and also John Sebastian, who commented, "Man, that`s one of the sweetest voices I`ve ever heard, man!" Their set celebrates the great song writers of the 60`s and 70`s, but also features contemporary tunes and some originals. Their sets are smooth and mellow, but infused with the energy and excitement of the era in which many of their tunes were born. If you want to know why the music of that era has remained timeless, check out Shilstone & Wilson.

Maybe You Wrote One...

Kiki, Thanks for sharing your life to all of us who love you. You have injected music into our community...and music heals!

The stories behind songs has always been a fascination by me, love to hear them, I’ve often thought what a wonderful book that would be...the stories behind rock classics. I actually ran that idea by Greg Kihn once, since he was publishing his own books. Anyways, well done, and much appreciated!!! Z
