Brett Barrow attended University of North Texas in 2007 before transferring to Berklee College of Music in 2009 where he studied with guitarist Richie Hart. While studying with Richie Hart, he became heavily influenced by George Benson and Wes Montgomery. At Berklee, Brett also spent a year as a member of the Funk and Soul/PFunk ensemble led by Lenny Stallworth (RH Factor member) studying Blues, Jazz, Rock and numerous other genres with additional instructors; however, Richie and Lenny remained his most influential mentors during his time in Boston. His biggest guitar influences are George Benson, Wes Montgomery, Peter Green, Jimmy Page, John McLaughlin, Steve Vai, Vince Gill, Steven Jenkins and many more. Outside of these guitarists, Brett appreciates the works of Led Zeppelin, Pat Martino, Pink Floyd, Peter Frampton, Andy McKee, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rush, Gypsy Kings, Eric Clapton, Ted Nugent, 3EB, SRV, Mac Dre and James Taylor. Currently, Brett resides in Los Angeles, California.
