Bass Playin’ Days with Citadel

Dungeons of War

Video

This video of "Dungeons of War" was shot on our rooftop of our 3 piece with John Ettore on Drums. It’s been edited down but shows what I was up to in 1981 - what a journey. It was challenging to sing all the many tongue tied lyrics and play the complicated timings and licks but you know me....I love a good challenge.

Live Video Shoot at The Gig

It’s always nerve-wrecking to do something LIVE because its all captured, mistakes and all, but thankfully - you manage to get through it and live with it as an exhilarating moment in time where you were scared and excited at the same time. These are the times you remember most in life.

I played bass and guitar for 12 years with this progressive rock band, Citadel. I love playing bass but it was heavier than shit after 3 hours in high heels.

Back in My Bass Playin’ Days

Here’s a blast of bass playin’ days from my past for a band called Citadel. We loved Yes and Rush and progressive rock type bands and made our way to L.A. from Ohio. Once we got here the band broke up, I got pregnant and we met up with twin brothers, Matt & Ian Sachs. Two terrific players, friends and people you can count on. They met me when I was pregnant playing the bass - and still wanted to be in our band. We rocked it too but you have to read my book to find out why this band disbanded because ’wow’ is all I can say. I was in this band for 12 years. I loved every song, and there were many.
