Singer/songwriters and friends of mine from L.A., these two are really fun and have grown together like two peas in a podcast. They have their own podcast show, and Craig Lincoln even wrote a song about ME! It’s called, The Kiki Wow Song, and it’s really quite incredible. You can hear it by clicking on the link below. It makes me cry. Craig also won a Bronze Metal in the 1977 Olympics in Diving - so he looked good in a Speedo, and maybe he still does, I don’t know everything!
Sabrina & Craig - a musical partnership of two experienced solo artists who have combined talents to perform as a duo for the past six years. Sabrina Schneppat grew up to the sounds of the great American songwriters and performers such as Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, Ella, and that wild man, Elvis Presley. Craig Lincoln is firmly rooted in the urban folk tradition, cutting his guitar fingers on Simon & Garfunkel, Peter, Paul & Mary, Crosby, Stills, & Nash, and those mop top Liverpoolians -- The Beatles. Together they bring an interesting mix of intelligent, fun, and heartfelt originals along with their own unique sound and arrangement of beloved and eclectic covers tunes.
Sabrina & Craig’s signature sound is rooted in their heartfelt connection which envelops audiences in luscious harmonies anchored upon Craig’s finely-crafted guitar voicings and award-winning finger-style playing which emerges as a third voice. The duo builds on their strong musicality by writing lyrics that are at turns sophisticated and witty yet honestly heart breaking.
The blend of Craig’s straight-up, storyteller style and Sabrina’s sometimes sweet, sometimes sassy, always dynamic performances have delighted audiences at festivals and house concerts across the West. For added flavor, Sabrina mixes in spice with bass, percussion, and ukulele.
In 2010, Sabrina & Craig won the prestigious Topanga Banjo & Fiddle Traditional Singing Competition with Craig placing second (again!) in the finger-style guitar category. Sabrina is a “Women of Substance Radio” chosen artist and their song “Mine all Mine” recently aired nationally on NPR radio.
The song "Green".........transcendent, other-worldly. Is there any recording of it anywhere? Both of you have such a beautiful show... at turns funny and very, very touching too. ~ Steve Chandler, Executive Coach and former Nashville Staff Songwriter
“You have written a song that will be referred to as ‘timeless’. When it has played 3 or 4 times in a row I get the feeling I am left with after hearing Judy Collins sing ‘Send In The Clowns’.” ~ Bernie Buller
“You two are really so incredibly entertaining!” ~ Harriet Schock, Gold/Platinum songwriter/performer
