Reeves `n Zat - Two award winning songwriters join forces Reeves and Zat met last January, at the Wintersong music retreat in Cambria, CA. Susan was teaching and John was attending for the first time. Both are veteran writers and performers, and they soon discovered they had a wonderful synergy with their songs, vocals and folk sound. This was something special that had to be shared, and though Susan lives in Santa Barbara, and John in Santa Rosa, they are now performing and touring together. Susan has worked in Nashville, and has won first place honors at Silverton and Kauai song competitions. With her bands, Wild Sage and the Honeysuckle Possums, she has played the Telluride, Strawberry, and Parkfield festivals, among many other shows. Her newest CD "Young Heart" is a gem, and can be heard at John`s songs have been played nationally and internationally, and have landed in the top 10 on Roots Music Report and other radio play charts. Perhaps his best known song is Midnight On The Water, recorded by music legend Kate Wolf, by Banish Misfortune, Caroline Herring and others. John`s music can be heard and seen at Mixing it up with guitar, fiddle, strum stick, ukelele, mandolin and percussion; with gorgeous vocals and songs that will transport you to the rivers, to the mountains, to the canyons and woodlands of your heart; Reeves `n Zat are on their way. This is an exciting collaboration, and it is nice to have them stopping by in Monterey.
