About the Songwriters: JANNI LITTLEPAGE, a native of Monterey, California, is a singer, songwriter and musician who has collaborated and performed with many notable artists and producers throughout her career as a recording artist and a backing vocalist, including Jimmy Messina, Jon Mark, and the late Kenny Edwards. Her song “A Rain Of Angels”, graces a platinum album by country artist, Lila McCann, and in 2011, Janni released her own solo album, “Strange Angels”. For the past four years she has written, recorded and toured with the acoustic trio, True North. MARIA BLOM is a Swedish singer-songwriter with three released solo-albums. Her roots goes down to the soil of blues and country and the branches of her music sway up in the vivid wind of the Swedish traditional genre - Visa. She has been singing with many well known artists like Marie Fredriksson in Roxette and the famous guitarist Lasse Wellander in ABBA (and even with Bob Weir from the Greatful Dead). Maria Blom`s music is like a cool, fresh breeze on a warm summer day" KYLE KOVALIK spent many a year chasing songs and rivers around the country and abroad, with residencies or extended travel in most of the western states, among other beautiful places. Recently he settled back on the Monterey Peninsula, the place of his origin. He writes songs of love and loss, heartbreak and hope. A graduate of the Musician’s Institute of Los Angeles, and long time guitarist for the Jackson Sundown Band (Seattle) and indie artist Megan Burtt (Denver), his guitar skills add special flavor to his compositions, beyond the typical strumming troubadour. When he’s not playing and singing he can usually be found frolicking on a challenging whitewater river somewhere, guiding friends and clients down many of the west’s most famous waterways. NICOLE DILLENBERG has been a featured guest on “The New Jazz Thing” with Vince Outlaw (San Diego Jazz 88.3 FM). She has performed at the Savannah Music Festival in "American Traditions", ensemble shows at the Hollywood Palladium and Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and solo shows at multiple venues throughout the United States, including the Metropolitan Room in New York. Her 2005 CD, “Just Like Heaven”, was arranged by Grammy-winner Bill Cunliffe. Her 2009 follow-up, “The Heart of the Matter”, was arranged by Eli Brueggemann (musical director; SNL). Her version of the title track by Don Henley charted at number 5 on upon release. An ASCAP songwriter, Nicole`s work is featured in the feature documentary "The Co-exist Comedy Tour" (Starz; iTunes; amazon) In 2012, Nicole released a new EP of original material inspired by Tin Pan Alley composers, “The Original Standards Project,” which featured jazz all-stars Dan Lutz, Ray Brinker (Tierney Sutton band), and John Boswell. In 2014, she had the honor of having her original song, "Planned For Love", demoed on Sugar Joans (The Voice). Her upcoming folk-pop CD, "Poison Tide" features some of the finest players in Central California and Scandinavia. Recent performances of note include: Golden State Vaudeville in Monterey; the Junior League of Monterey County; Ghenghis Cohen in Hollywood; the Haute Enchilada in Santa Cruz (with Dan Frechette); the Chamisal Tennis Club in Monterey; Society Cabaret at the Hotel Rex in San Francisco; and the Arthur Newman Theatre in Palm Desert. RICHARD BRYANT knew his life was going to be about music since he sang in a choir as a child - and it has been exactly that - all about the music. Richard is a Recording Engineer, Teacher, Drummer, Keyboardist, Singer/Songwriter and currently the Vocalist for the White Album Ensemble. He has performed with many, many bands and has toured with The Doobie Bros. and Little River Band as well as recorded numerous bands including Chaka Khan, Tom Ayres and Al Jardine, to name a few, at Franklin Street Recording Studio in Monterey. KIKI WOW is a Singer/Songwriter/ Musician and Producer of local music shows and special events in the Monterey Peninsula. She performs with many notable musicians such as Kenny Stahl, Dave Holodiloff, Guitar Bob, Steve Uccello and many others. Kiki has released 3 CDs and written hundreds of songs, some of which were produced by Grammy Award winner CJ Vanston and Greg Edenfield in and is currently producing a local music TV Show. Kiki’s long musical history in L.A. includes years as the Music Host/Emcee of a six camera live webcast at Kulak’s Woodshed, working for Neil Young’s attorney, Dick Clark Productions and Warner Bros. Kiki also produced ‘Songwriter Circles’ at several venues from the famous Cat Club to UCLA’s Royce Hall and co-produced ‘Progfest,’ a two-day Progressive Rock Festival that has become an annual event to this day. Music is the pulse of Kiki’s world and she enjoys turning people on to great songs, new talent, both local and touring artists that deserve to be heard. She regularly produces music shows, house concert and most recently produced a successful Variety Show benefitting the homeless women of Monterey County. Events and upcoming concerts are listed at - outside of putting on concerts for other artists, Kiki plays regularly with various performers at the Courtside Bistro and Bay of Pines.
