PRESS RELEASE: For immediate release Contact: Kiki Wow Presents… August 10, 2016 Phone: 831-235-7662 Email: FRESH NEW LOCAL BAND, THE INTERCHANGEABLES, FEATURING STEVE MANN, MICHAEL CHATFIELD, GUITAR BOB, KIKI WOW & GREG EDENFIELD PERFORM AT BAY OF PINES SATURDAY, AUGUST 20, 2016 AT 7:30 PM (Donations Appreciated) (Bay of Pines is located Upstairs - 150 Del Monte Ave, Monterey, CA 93940) THE INTERCHANGEABLES are local players featuring Multi-instrumentalist/Keyboardist Steve Mann from the Mann Cave Recording Studio in Sand City, Michael Chatfield, Bassist of Wild Card and former Bassist of The Money Band, Guitar Bob, Guitarist/Vocalist of Victory Lane and The Vibe Tribe, exciting Drummer Greg Edenfield (also an A List Recording/Mix Engineer from L.A.) together with local music maker, Kiki Wow, of the Vibe Tribe on Rhythm Guitar and Vocals came together for fun and without any effort whatsoever, surprised one another with the ease of the band’s tightness and connection on songs they had never even played together before. All of these musicians play with other bands so the name “The Interchangeables” felt appropriate. Scheduled to play at the big Carmel Valley Annual Fiesta, the event was cancelled due to the fires in that area so they are playing at the Bay of Pines on Sat., August 20th at 7:30pm to help keep the spirit up of so many surrounded by bad news. All of the players are full time musicians and their setlist includes favorite hits by The Doors, The Doobies, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Shawn Colvin, Sheryl Crow, Santana, John Mayer, Linda Ronstadt, Dinner music, Dance music - they cover the gambit of great music to the ears and for the soul. Dana Heller, owner of the Bay of Pines Organic Restaurant, is very pleased the music scene that has come back to her venue since its reopen a few months ago. Kiki Wow Presents…books music Thursdays nights which features super singer/songwriters both local and on tour and Saturday nights bands for those who like to dance to a variety of styled music; Friday nights feature DJ Willie and his packed room of dancers; Tuesday nights feature Salsa Dance nights with lessons; and 2nd Sundays are Jazz Jams featuring Scotti Wright and Kenny Stahl and many other jazz greats.
