|Our band is more and more solid each week that we play. We invite music friends to come up and play with us, so if youíre a musician, come on by and sit in with us. Itís a hoot - and the food is delicious! Happy to have Ron Beckett with us on bass and Stewart Pilkenton on lead guitar.|
|Fields of Eden is an Acoustic Rock Band that plays the classic rock hits covering the last three decades. This fun loving group delivers timeless songs just the way you first heard them and cover artists like ELP, Todd Rundgren, Tom Petty, Bonnie Raitt, Coldplay, The Verve Pipe, Fleetwood Mac, Linda Ronstadt, The EaglesÖ a mixed bag of songs and something for everybody.
Fields of Edenís members are The Edenfields: Lead singer/guitarist, Kiki Wow, whose engaging vocals and rhythm guitar hit a delightful and familiar chord that has audiences tapping and singing along from the first song on. Drummer and mix engineer, Greg Edenfield, whose timing and drum chops puts the right rhythm and pocket to every song. Greg is really fun to watch on his plethora of drum kits he has collected and built.
Mark Whittington has been "serving the song" for more than 40 years. He began playing the bass in Berkeley and played in bands around the Bay Area, Portland and Monterey -- including Blue with Steve Snider. A dozen years ago, he followed a day job to the Neon Desert, where he managed coverage of the Las Vegas entertainment scene for the daily newspapers. He moonlighted as the bassist for the West Coast Travelers, playing everywhere from casino lounges to biker bars then moved back to the Monterey Peninsula in June. We trade off lead guitar players with Stewart Pilkenton who performs with several local bands when Steve Snider, owner of the fabulous Carmel Magazine is out of town printing this monster lifestyle magazine. Both are awesome guitar players and excellent people. We are very fortunate to have both very capable players join us when their busy schedule permits.
