About Fields of Eden
Fields of Eden is an Acoustic Rock Band that plays the classic rock hits covering the last three decades. This fun loving group delivers timeless songs just the way you first heard them and cover artists like ELP, Todd Rundgren, Tom Petty, Bonnie Raitt, Coldplay, The Verve Pipe, Fleetwood Mac, Linda Ronstadt, The Eagles… a mixed bag of songs and something for everybody.
Fields of Eden’s members are The Edenfields: Lead singer/guitarist, Kiki Wow, whose engaging vocals and rhythm guitar hit a delightful and familiar chord that has audiences tapping and singing along from the first song on. Drummer and mix engineer, Greg Edenfield, whose timing and drum chops puts the right rhythm and pocket to every song. Greg is really fun to watch on his plethora of drum kits he has collected and built.
Ron Beckett has years of bass playing in many genres under his belt, including performing at Carnegie Hall. He also sings background vocals and besides being a recent transplant to Monterey, he is also a mummy archeologist and studied Bioanthropology. This work led him to becoming the co-host of ‘The Mummy Road Show’, a 40 episode, 3-year series on the National Geographic Channel. He is currently listed as an ‘Explorer’ for the National Geographic Society and has received many academic accolades. He also has been involved in many documentaries both domestic and abroad associated with his work on mummies. These presentations were seen on Discovery, TLC, PBS, History and The Travel Channel as well as the National Geographic Explorer series.
Stewart Pilkenton is the newest member to the band playing lead guitar and background vocals. He came to a gig and asked to sit in and he`s been playing ever since.
